This project is a study I created to develop my skills in look development and environment art. The medieval-style wishing well was designed with a strong focus on realism and storytelling. I used a combination of hand-painted and procedural texturing techniques to bring out the natural, weathered look of the materials, including the aged wood, moss-covered stones, and worn roof tiles. The model was optimized for real-time applications, ensuring efficient geometry without compromising detail. Lighting was carefully set up to enhance the textures and emphasize the subtle imperfections and wear that give the piece its authenticity. Storytelling elements, such as the moss growth and a frayed rope, help convey a sense of age and abandonment. This asset is part of a larger medieval castle scene I am currently working on, where it will play a key role in building the atmosphere and narrative of the environment.
